Need Beta Testers for Warrior Forum Alarm

April 10, 2010 – 12:08 pm

I’m looking for beta testers for new service – Warrior Forum Alarm.

You will receive lifetime access to this software and I’m asking your to:

  • try and use it
  • report any error
  • send me suggestion if you have any
  • give me testimonial to use on sales page

You must be active member of Warrior Forum !

About Product:

This is an online tool that will monitor Warrior Forums for the keywords you set.
It sends you an email each time there is a new post with your keyword(s) in title.

Why Should You Use Forum Alarm

  • You want to learn about something specific.
  • Perhaps you are an expert in something and want to answer the posts related to your expertise so you can promote your signature and name.
  • You are looking for all Warrior Special Offers related to specific keywords
(e.g. set keyword “PLR” to receive all PLR WSO posts).

Read more examples below.

How It Works

The software is hosted on my server. You only need to set it once (see image below) and you will start getting email reports every 30 minutes.

It automatically searches the last page of each forum for your selected keywords and sends you an email with links to the posts that contain your keywords in the title.

You can set up to 6 keywords and change it any time.
(If members request more keywords I will increase this number.)

Forum Alarm

Examples

  • List swaps – set keyword “swap” in the Joint Ventures forum to receive reports when there is a new offer for list swap.
  • WSO – set keyword “PLR” to get all PLR related WSO posts.
  • Learn specific methods – For example, if you want to learn more about “auto blogging”, you can specify your keywords “auto blog”,”autoblog” and my software will follow all new posts related to the specific keywords.
  • Product owners – set the name of your product to get alerts each time somebody discusses your business or product.
  • Experts – Say you are expert in SEO and want to promote your signature link; Just set the keywords “SEO”,”becklink”,”link building” and other SEO terms so you can be alerted and respond to related questions on forum.

etc…etc…

If you are interested, post in comment box below your username on Warrior Forum.
I will contact you via forum private message.

Please don’t send me email, support tickets or PMs.

Update (April 12th):

To be honest I didn’t expect so many responses.

My server can’t handle more then 100 members in this service because of the large number of email alerts it will send.
Because of that I can give only 10 free accounts now.

Here is formula that I used to choose these 10 happy Warriors:

Criteria 1 is number of posts on Warrior Forum.

Criteria 2 is how fast you respond to my call (what is number of your comment on this page).

Criteria 3 is how many years you are member on Warrior Forum.

I scraped for each user all this info and users with highest score are :

CDarklock
Dan Klatt
Hackbridge
Matt Wolfe
Richard Wing
Richelo Killian
TopKat
avenuegirl
garyv
icyguy
scottparat

I will contact you soon with login info.

Please don’t feel bad if you are not on the list.
I hope next time you will be.

Thank You All for showing interest in this project !

You have a bright idea there ! I’d be interested in testing it out.

I would also mention, seriously consider adding options to add more than just the WF. I currently pay attention to about 30 IM or related blogs/forums, and it would be VERY handy to have a tool that could alert me to keyword phrase interests.

Believe me, reading through the RSS feeds on my Google Reader is nothing to sneeze at for so many feeds, just to find the few nuggets I’m looking for.

Looking forward to your success !
